"Chucky On HIs First Flyby"

May 26 was a bad day
Hurrying to land for an aircraft that was taxing out I misjudged the crosswind.
I will fix this mess and "Chucky" will fly again!!

I did fix the plane after the above damage and it flew better than ever. I enlarged the rudder and capped the wing tips instead of the plastic tips that were with the kit. The larger rudder "kicked" it into spins much better and the removal of the plastic tips improved the roll rate.

The end of a very enjoyable airplane. I had many good flights with the Easy Sport. I learned  most of the basic maneuvers with this plane. It suffered unnoticed structural damage which resulted in the wing bolt block pulling out on a recovery from a spin. The damage was from a few rough and tumbles from previous "learnings". On to bigger and better now I guess. I am still working on the F-4 and have also started the Giles 202. Guess I had better finsh something!
